“CEREC” – “Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics” is a revolutionary technology in customized restorative dentistry. The range of restorations which can be done under “CEREC” system are Dental Crowns, Veneers, Inlays & Onlays that are fabricated from bio-compatible, durable, strong, light-weighted and aesthetically pleasing Ceramics.

“CEREC” system is based on fully digital technology which gives the prosthesis high precision, a great fit and a very pleasing aesthetics.

• The process starts taking Digital dental impressions by scanning the teeth and the interiors of the patient’s mouth by an Intra Oral Scanner thus eliminating the need of messy process of taking impressions with impression material. This digital impression is then sent to the RR Dental Labs for fabrication of the prosthesis
• At RR Dental Labs 3D designing is done using CAD (Computer Aided Design) with special software to create a virtual 3D model of the impression. The 3D Model is created with great precision to perfectly match the contours, shape, size and the colour & shades of the restoration.
• Next, the virtual model is sent for computerised milling, where a CAM (Computer Aided Machine) mills to create a precise restoration from the Ceramic block in a very short time.
• After the milling process, the restoration is tried and checked for a proper fit and necessary adjustments are done – if required.
• Finally, the restoration is shaded & coloured to match the colour of the original teeth and then bonded with the help of dental adhesive to the teeth.
