DMLS

Dental technology is undergoing various advancements and technology is being imported from various other fields. One such imported technology is direct metal laser sintering technology for casting metal crowns. Laser sintering is the newest technology in metal manufacturing. DLMS requires three inputs: material, energy and CAD model. Complex 3D components are produced directly from 3D CAD data without using any machining. A certified system for additive manufacturing of new generation DMLS. We use our latest German imported laser sintering machine. The metal frame is fabricated using CAD files by sintering special Co-Cr-Mb-based powder layer by layer. This phenomenal alloy is tremendously biocompatible. To assure the purity of materials, DMLS EOS uses certified alloy powder directly imported from the manufacturer. It has extremely thin margins in comparison with the conventional process. The CAD process identifies and eliminates undercut up to 0.2 mm and the CAM process enables equal space for ceramic binding and evades ceramic chip-off. The long-span bridges of up to 16 units can be fabricated and also the high precision allows easy crown fixing. This is not your run-of-the-mill product, but it is an ideal product.

Why to choose DMLS?

  • Mass Customisation

  • Monolithic Design

  • Improved Functional Performance

  • Weight Reduction

  • Improved freedom of design(Flexibility) to manufacture complex shapes with better consistency

  • Alternative to casting.

  • Prosthetics, bridges, crowns, and partial dentures are easily modeled specifically for the patient then printed in high-strength materials like cobalt chrome.

  • Custom fit, strength, and long-term durability

  • Highly accurate, well detailed restorations

  • Coping thickness, pontic design and cement thickness can all be standardized with this method.

  • Laser sintering is a computer-controlled, precise process that ensures consistent work quality.

  • DMLS is more predictable with improved marginal fit.

  • Incredibly thinner margins when compared with conventional PFM

  • The CAD process detects and eliminates undercut up to 0.2 mm

  • The CAM process facilitates equal space for ceramic binding and avoids ceramic chip-off

  • Long span bridges up to 16 units can be fabricated

  • The fabrication of long span bridges through sintering eliminates rocking

  • The high precision allows easy crown fixing
